Delivery & Returns

We offer a standard 3-5 working day delivery and a faster 1-3 working day service should you wish to get your hands on your new camera as quickly as possible. All orders before 12pm Mon-Fri are usually dispatched the same day. We offer free standard delivery for all orders over £100 to the UK mainland only. All our orders are sent on a tracked and signed for service with either Royal Mail or via courier. If you need your camera quicker than this or have any special delivery requirements, simply contact us.

UK mainland orders

Delivery for the following products will be dispatched the following day (for all other products, the cut-off period is stated above for same day dispatch):

Non UK mainland orders

Deliveries to Scottish Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Channel Islands and the Isle of Wight.

Tracking

Where possible we will provide you with a tracking reference number so you can track your delivery. If you have a tracking reference, you will see the details in your email we send you when your order has been dispatched.

Returns

If you would like to return an item for any reason please just email us on support@carcamerashop.co.uk with any problems, no matter how trivial, and we’ll do our best to sort things out so you're completely happy.

You are welcome to return products purchased from us for an exchange or refund as you prefer within 30 days. Items do need to be returned to us and the cost of this is your responsibility unless the camera is faulty (UK customers only).

To return an item, please follow these steps:

  1. Drop a quick email to us at support@carcamerashop.co.uk and let us know you are returning an item and your reason.
  2. We will provide you with an RMA reference number for the return.
  3. Print off the RMA Form which you can download here.
  4. Complete this form in full and include this with your returned item.
  5. Send your return back to us (we will confirm the address via email).

We strongly recommend UK customers use a registered postal service since we can't be held responsible for undelivered returns. Make sure you send the products back recorded and tracked and that you keep the receipt. If you have a tracking number, please let us know so that we can keep track of the delivery.

Returned goods should be in an ‘as new’ condition and in their original packaging with labels, stickers, screen protectors, cable ties etc. all attached. If reasonable care hasn’t been taken of the goods before we receive them back which results in damage or deterioration we’ll charge you for the reduction in value. You should let us know that you would like to return something within 30 days and ensure we receive them within a further 21 days.

Once we have received your return, we will let you know. We aim to process the return and action any refunds, repairs or replacements within 14 days.

Reimbursement of Postage
Unfortunately, we cannot refund the cost of postage (this includes the original delivery cost and return postage) unless the item is faulty. If you wish to request reimbursement for postage due to an incorrectly advertised, damaged or faulty item just get in touch with us and we will reimburse your postage costs once we have received the item back and have verified the issue (a postage receipt will be required). We will reimburse the postage cost up to the value of £5 which will cover the cost of a Royal Mail Signed For service. Return postage reimbursement is paid via bank transfer only.

Retaining your Footage
Please note that if you are returning your camera to us to be repaired, it is your responsibility to ensure that you have retained any footage that you wish to keep prior to shipping. While we'll do our best to protect your footage, formatting memory cards is a key part of most repairs which may result in the loss of data. If you are returning a camera without a memory card, please ensure you remove the memory card from the camera before sending. You will be responsible for any return postage costs or the loss of this card should you send it back by mistake.

If you tamper with the camera by attempting to fix it yourself, this will invalidate the manufacturer warranty and we will not be able to offer a full refund. Please talk to us before attempting to fix the camera yourself.

When hardwiring your camera to your vehicle, we recommend hiring a fully qualified auto electrician to do the work for you since it may invalidate your car or camera warranty. If there is any damage to your camera as a result of hard-wiring we cannot provide a full refund, unless the hardwiring kit was supplied by us at the same time as the camera and you hired a professional auto electrician to do the work for you (proof will be required).

If you have doubts or questions then do not hesitate to contact us where we will be happy to advise you. This policy does not affect your statutory rights (such as your rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000).
